Job summary

Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in Evansville, IN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our Evansville location. You will assess patients, select equipment, educate on use, and coordinate with physicians to adjust plans.

• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting information and authorization if referral is from party other than the physician.
• Assess the needs of the patient and the best choice of equipment and/or services to meet those needs.
• Communicate with the patient, family, and/or caregiver in the selection of products.
• Instruct patients in the proper use and care of equipment according to policies.
• Communicate with the physician on changes in patient condition and adjust the care plan.

We are looking for an experienced Full Time, Respiratory Therapist to join our Evansville location.

The Respiratory Therapist will:

• Assist in collecting information and/or authorization if referral is from party other than the physician.
• Assess the needs of the patient and the best choice of equipment and/or services to meet those needs.
• Communicate with the patient, family, and/or caregiver in the selection of products.
• Instruct patients in the proper use and care of equipment according to the written policies and procedures for the equipment.
• Communicate with the patient's physician on changes in patient's condition and/or needs and will carry out adjustments to the patient's plan of care or treatment.

Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00 p.m.)

Education: Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
