Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to join our team onsite in San Jose, CA. You will perform root-cause analyses, develop reliability test plans, and analyze performance and degradation data for Bloom Energy fuel cell systems.

You will collaborate with Quality, Product Development, Field Service, and Remote Monitoring to drive continuous improvement. You will gather and validate data using SQL and Python, create RCCA reports, and help model fleet reliability with statistical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Reliability or Systems engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with data mining using SQL and Python with discipline and attention to detail for data and analysis, validation and accuracy.
• Experience with JMP or Minitab and Tableau for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform root‑cause analyses for field return solid oxide fuel cell products to drive reliability improvement.
• Develop reliability test plans for continuous improvement of SOFC products.
• Gather and validate data from multiple databases using Python, SQL or other methods for performance and reliability analyses.
• Create and present summaries of analyses to cross-functional teams to guide product improvements.
• Organize data input into Excel and JMP to complete critical reliability analyses.
