Valero Energy in Ardmore, OK is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to provide reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires on-site work at the Ardmore Refinery, a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5 years of reliability or maintenance experience, and the ability to support outages and safety guidelines while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.
• Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Ardmore Refinery.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
• Assist in formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing PM and PDM programs.
• Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within design parameters.
• Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure reliability, operability, and maintainability.
• Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
• Provide refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including after-hours availability.
• Perform all duties following safety rules and guidelines.

As a Senior Reliability Engineer you will provides reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life in a safe and effective manner..

• Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
• Assistsin formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.
• Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.
• Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.
• Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
• Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off‑hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.
  

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work on‑site, in‑person at the Valero Ardmore Refinery, required.
• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
