Valero in Ardmore, OK seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to provide reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life. The role requires on-site work at the Ardmore Refinery and collaboration with Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance teams.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of reliability or maintenance experience; preferred are degrees in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance is required.
• On-site work at Valero Ardmore Refinery is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
• Assist in formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing PM and PDM programs.
• Advise on new capital designs to improve reliability, operability, and maintainability.
• Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
• Provide refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including after-hours support.

As a Senior Reliability Engineer you will provides reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life in a safe and effective manner..

• Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.


• Assistsin formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.


• Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.


• Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.


• Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.


• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.


• Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required


• Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Ardmore Refinery, required.


• Bachelor's or higher level degree in Engineering required.


• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.
