Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, RN, Hospice for on-call and emergency night visits serving Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia. The position runs on a biweekly 26-week rotation, Monday–Friday 5:00 pm–8:30 am with 24 hours on weekends and premium pay.

Ideal candidates have an active PA RN license, strong clinical experience, and a compassionate, reliable approach to delivering patient-centered hospice care in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Active and current PA RN license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Home health/hospice experience welcomed but not required.
• Willingness to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments and comfort care as directed.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
• Follow doctors' orders and document actions; occasional on-call after hours.

Position Summary

Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse, RN, for a position on-call and performing emergency night visits if needed. This office services our hospice clients throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia. Position is for every other week, 26 weeks per year (but paid for 52 weeks), weekdays Monday-Friday 5:00 pm - 8:30 am and 24 hours on Saturdays & Sundays with premium pay. Full Time compensation and benefits but only work 26 weeks out of the year! Prior home care, hospice, or acute care experience strongly preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

What you should have:

• Active and current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the state of PA.
• One year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication. The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
