BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice in Furlong, PA. The role involves on-call duties and nighttime emergency visits as part of Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice.

The position is full-time with benefits, covering a territory in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia. Requires PA RN license and preferred 1 year of clinical/homecare experience; travel to cases is required.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse, RN, for a position on-call and performing emergency night visits if needed. This office services our hospice clients throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia. Position is for every other week, 26 weeks per year (but paid for 52 weeks), weekdays Monday-Friday 5:00 pm – 8:30 am and 24 hours on Saturdays & Sundays with premium pay. Full Time compensation and benefits but only work 26 weeks out of the year! Prior home care, hospice, or acute care experience strongly preferred.

What you’ll do:

As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice Nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends.

What you should have:

• Active and current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the state of PA.
• One year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
• A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication.
• The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
