Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after one (1) year of service, with exceptions for warnings and suspensions. Part-time associates who have completed probation may move to full-time positions within their department if it does not unreasonably affect operations. Probation periods are three months for full-time and four months for part-time employees working more than 3/5 of a week.

Position Summary

All Service Associates are expected to function as part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and services. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment; assisting with dietary care; facilitating communication (answering phones); transporting patients; and assisting visitors. The Service Associate plays a vital role in supporting patient-focused care within the Care Center.

Schedule

Scheduled hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with alternate weekends.

Education, Training & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
