Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinic Electrophysiology Lab in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing patient care using the nursing process, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status.
• Offer triage and consultation, communicate with healthcare team, and document patient information accurately.
• Prepare patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures and assist with physician procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as per physician orders.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatments and self-care, coordinate follow-up care.
• Perform advanced clinical tasks with demonstrated competency.
• Assist in staff training, act as a clinical resource, and support patient care flow.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on developmental needs.

Licensure, Certification, and Education:

• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months, if required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Experience & Skills:

• No experience required.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks as described.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, carry 40 lbs, push/pull with 30 lbs force.
• Exposure to hazards, requiring protective equipment.
