Job summary

Trigg County Hospital Inc is seeking an RN to oversee nursing services on assigned unit(s) in Cadiz, KY. The role includes supervising LPNs and CNAs, ensuring high-quality patient care, and potentially assuming Charge Nurse duties on the scheduled unit.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, hold an active KY RN license, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Shift options include 7A–7P and 7P–7A, with some weekend and holiday scheduling involved.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Kentucky or a collaborative state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Diploma/Associate/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited school.

12-hour accountability for nursing services provided on assigned unit(s). They will have responsibility of overseeing care and services provided by Licensed Practical Nursing and Certified Nurses Aid staff. They may have Charge Nurse responsibilities for the unit in which they are scheduled to work.Reports to: Chief Nursing OfficerSupervises: No direct reports. Clinically supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Aids.Shift / Work Hours: 7A- 7P AND/OR 7P-7A. Some weekend work may be scheduled. Must be willing to work holidays as scheduled.Licensure / Certification / Registration: Must have current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Kentucky or collaborative state or current work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required.Education: Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate in Nursing from an accredited School of NursingExperience: Any length of experience in medical/surgical nursing area/s or new RN graduate.
