Job summary

Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, DPC is seeking a full‑time Recruiter to recruit and source candidates for current and upcoming positions nationwide. A/E/C industry or other technical experience is strongly preferred.

You’ll build strong perspectives on talent and communicate clearly throughout the hiring process. You’ll deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and personalized candidate experience from first outreach to offer.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in recruitment, ideally in AEC/technical fields.
  • Strong understanding of construction management, inspection, and engineering roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt priorities for changing company needs.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and recruitment software.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for diverse teams.
  • Independent work ethic with a collaborative mindset.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Develop creative recruitment strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Sourcing, tracking and building relationships with candidates while following internal processes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of sourced candidates and positions.
  • Screen resumes and candidates to determine fit for roles.
  • Manage a high volume of candidates while preserving a positive candidate experience.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Tectonic is currently seeking a full‑time Recruiter to recruit and source candidates for current and upcoming positions nationwide. A/E/C industry or other technical experience is strongly preferred. This role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring exceptional technical talent for current and upcoming positions nationwide.

You’ll build strong perspectives on talent, understand candidate motivations, and communicate clearly throughout the hiring process. From first outreach to offer, you’ll deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and personalized candidate experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assist hiring managers to understand and anticipate hiring needs for each role, and to develop effective sourcing strategies;
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to identify talent and proactively build a robust pipeline of diverse technical talent;
  • Sourcing, tracking, and developing relationships with candidates, while maintaining compliance with internal processes and procedures;
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date database of sourced candidates and prospective positions;
  • Screen resumes and candidates to determine fit for current and upcoming roles;
  • Work with a high volume of candidates while maintaining a positive candidate experience;
  • All other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience; recent recruitment experience in the A/E/C industry strongly preferred;
  • General understanding of construction management, inspection, and engineering consulting positions and roles strongly preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred;
  • Ability to work in a flexible way that allows for changes in assignments and priorities depending upon identified needs of the Company;
  • Exceptional computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant recruiting software;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to act as a resource for and work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within an organization;
  • Able to work well independently as well as part of a team;
  • Good sense and sound judgement in practical matters;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

In order to perform the essential functions of this position, the candidate must be able to constantly assume a stationary position, and must handle and/or feel documents, materials, and/or equipment to perform necessary tasks, sometimes repetitively. The candidate must be able to occasionally maneuver within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and may exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. Constantly, they must be able to receive and convey detailed or important information with others via the Corporate e‑mail system, telephone system, and in person. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. PAY RANGE

Tectonic's goal is to compensate employees fairly and equitably across all positions Companywide. Our advertised pay ranges are representative of our good faith effort to provide a reasonable anticipated salary range. The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate's work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.

Pay Range: $26.00 - $36.00 / hour

Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
