Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring a radiologic technologist to perform radiographic examinations under the guidance of physicians and radiologists. The role requires CT licensure and ARRT certification or eligibility, with a $7500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Day shift and full-time employment are offered. The ideal candidate will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, state licensure, and the ability to provide patient-centered care across all ages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
• Connecticut State Licensure is required.
• ARRT certification or eligibility and ability to pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.

• Perform radiographic examinations following physician orders under radiologist supervision.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Licensure : Connecticut State Licensure
• Certification : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.
