Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist in Hartford, CT. Day shift with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Generating radiographic examinations under physician or radiologist guidance, with patient-centered care and growth opportunities. The role requires CT or radiography proficiency, CT imaging knowledge, CT licensure in CT state, ARRT registration, and Connecticut licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology; Associates degree preferred.
• Connecticut State Licensure required.
• Registered by ARRT; registry-eligible candidates must pass ARRT within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient data as needed.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Licensure : Connecticut State Licensure
• Certification : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.
