Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages in the Imaging Department.

The role requires critical thinking, strong communication, CPR certification, MRT license, and ARRT certification within one year; one year hospital radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year hospital radiology experience preferred.
• Texas Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) and CPR certification.
• ARRT certification achieved or will be attained within one year of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of Diagnostic Radiology procedures on patients of varying ages.
• Assists in development and monitoring of department systems and coordination of activities that improve patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Performs wide range of Diagnostic Radiology procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Required Experience:

A. Work Experience:
