Job summary

VA Maryland Health Care System invites applications from radiologists to join our Imaging Service. We seek specialists in breast, body, and interventional radiology with opportunities for full-time or part-time roles.

The department uses Optum PACS and PowerScribe, with remote teleradiology for after-hours coverage. Teaching and research opportunities are available with university affiliations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen status per VA policy.
• MD degree from a school approved by VA.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state/territory/DC.

Responsibilities

• Interpret imaging studies and perform image-guided procedures per privileges.
• Cover imaging modalities including CT, MRI, US, radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, and nuclear medicine.
• Provide clinical oversight of protocols, contrast administration, and QA/peer review.
