Job Overview

As a Staff Product Development Engineer in the Signal Integrity team, you will focus on the electrical design, simulation, and verification-validation testing of high-speed products in the connector and/or cable assembly, radio system industry—targeting high-speed communications and connectivity within data centers and wireless infrastructure. You will be expected to independently work on projects related to signal integrity for product and system design, including modeling, simulation, testing, and circuit board layout. You will collaborate within a broader cross-functional team of mechanical, manufacturing, and operations professionals to execute leading-edge product designs. You will serve as the subject matter expert for the signal integrity performance of a product/platform, from initial analysis through prototype fabrication, evaluation, and production verification testing. You will address challenging design problems and utilize simulation tools to guide complex designs toward success.

What your background should look like:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical design, RF design, or PCB design
  • Proficient with signal integrity analysis tools (e.g., Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent)
  • A solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret simulation and lab data, identify issues, and develop solutions
  • Familiarity with printed circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written) to facilitate global communication
  • Ability to work in a global environment, accommodating varying time zones and collaborating across geographies
  • Highly motivated, quick learner, and capable of working independently

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary: $141,400 – $212,200 (subject to change based on location)
• Salary ranges are provided in good faith; TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust based on experience, qualifications, and internal/external equity.
• Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Incentives, and Benefits
