Job summary

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Quantum Error Correction Decoding in the Quantum AI group in the United States. You will design and optimize decoders, build scalable APIs, and collaborate with researchers to run experiments on Google's quantum computers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of software development with C++ or Python and data structures.

Experience leading technical design and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Propose, implement, and evaluate novel QEC decoding algorithms for quantum codes.
