Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize fault‑tolerant quantum applications.
• Design and analyze quantum algorithms for relevant problems.
• Translate algorithms into explicit logical workloads with resource estimates.
• Develop algorithmic improvements that reduce resource costs.
• Establish classical baselines and quantitative criteria for potential advantage.
• Build and maintain research software for simulation, benchmarking, and estimation.
• Collaborate with researchers in error correction, circuit synthesis, and control.
• Lead ambitious projects and mentor other researchers.
• Translate research results into reusable capabilities for the tech roadmap.
• Publish and present research at journals and conferences.
