JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology Applied Research (GTAR) center in New York invites a Senior Associate quantum computing researcher to develop and optimize fault-tolerant quantum protocols, implement them for experimental validation, and execute fault-tolerant quantum algorithms on hardware.

You will document results in papers and maintain a codebase enabling colleagues without QEC expertise to run algorithms on quantum hardware, contributing to the firm's frontier research in quantum

Qualificações

• PhD or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• Strong background in stabilizer QEC and FTQC concepts.
• Experience with quantum software frameworks and simulations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop circuit gadgets and protocols for universal fault-tolerant quantum computation (FTQC).
• Numerically investigate and optimize fault-tolerant gadgets for real-world execution on quantum computing hardware.
• Implement and experimentally validate protocols for universal FTQC on quantum computing hardware.
• Document analytical, numerical, and experimental results in scientific papers.
• Implement, maintain, and manage a codebase that colleagues without QEC experience can use to run quantum algorithms fault-tolerantly on hardware.
