Job summary

QuEra Computing Inc. seeks a talented quantum solutions scientist to explore algorithms and applications for near-term neutral-atom quantum computers.

You will work with customers and internal teams on co-design projects, resource estimation, QEC gadget design, and subroutine optimization to show EFT neutral atoms’ utility. You will publish research and collaborate across hardware, theory, and software teams to advance practical quantum utility, including conference presentations and

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required in a relevant field.
• Expertise in quantum information science and quantum computing fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of modern quantum error correction techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with scientific coding using Python.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical co-design projects from scoping to hardware execution and results.
• Collaborate with hardware, QEC theory, compiler, and software teams to deliver customer projects.
• Estimate resources and optimize quantum executions for EFT neutral atom hardware.
• Develop fault-tolerant algorithmic subroutines and QEC gadgets.
• Survey state-of-the-art classical and quantum methods to identify high-value applications.
• Publish research and present findings at leading quantum computing conferences.
