Job Duties: Develop and execute software tests to identify DNA analysis software problems and their causes. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Document software defects and report defects to software developers. Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Oversee test cases and application tests for a world-class experience around peer-to-peer engagement. Develop client-side components and pages and manage scalable resources. Plan, scope, schedule, and implement application software activities for projects of varying size and complexity. Utilize application frameworks standards and tools to contribute to best practices. Implement and enforce continuous quality in the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Write and maintain automation for select projects for REST web services, frontend web UI applications, mobile web, and mobile apps. Expand testing and test automation across the development team and code for applications. Communicate status, metrics, and trending of quality for the development team. Lead software test automation in the dev pipeline. Utilize current test automation tools and frameworks and develop test automation. Maintain set up for static analysis and quality gates. Work on performance testing tools and processes. Full-time telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
