Job summary

2K is seeking a Staff Software Quality Engineer to serve as the principal architect for QA AI SDLC. You will shape the technical roadmap, collaborate with Amazon FDEs and 2K leadership, and drive high-impact engineering across C++, Go, JavaScript, and Java.

You will coach SQE teams, elevate observability with Datadog, and influence Playwright automation across Unreal Engine and Unity platforms. This is a full-time role in Austin, TX with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 7+ years in software engineering, QA architecture, or technical leadership.
• Expert-level architecture skills in designing complex testing systems and AI SDLC workflows.
• Deep programming mastery across C++, Go, JavaScript, and Java; experience with Unreal Engine and Unity.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and QA AI SDLC integration for 2K's QA platforms.
• Collaborate with Amazon FDEs and 2K Tech leadership to co-architect and refine agentic QA tools.
• Establish governance, benchmarks, and human-in-the-loop review frameworks for AI autonomy.
