Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan repayment assistance. Eligibility requirements must be met, and applications submitted within four months of appointment. The award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined after review of the EDRP application.

Duties

• Provide a full range of psychodiagnostic assessments and evidence-based psychotherapeutic services in outpatient mental health programs.
• Participate in telemental health activities to serve Veterans at a distance.
• Deliver therapies such as CBT, MI, and ACT; work within the BHIP team; consult with medical staff on patient care.
• Offer ethical individual and group mental health services, including assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Serve as a consultant to staff and trainees, and assist in their formulation of psychological care plans.
• Work some early mornings/evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate Veterans' needs.
• Provide clinical supervision to trainees, review applications, and participate in training committees.
• Participate in team meetings, program reviews, and data collection for program evaluation.
• Contribute to hospital committees and promote program development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Full Time, with hours 0730-1600 or 0800-1630.

Telework: In accordance with VA policy and supervisor discretion.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA, PCSAS, or CPA accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the U.S.

Experience levels vary by grade, with specific KSAs required for each level. Preferred experience includes behavioral health and behavioral medicine.
