Staff Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Washington DC (New)

Talkiatry was built for Psychiatrists, by Psychiatrists, offering the stability and support of a hospital group with the autonomy of a private practice. We are now interviewing Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners interested in joining us as we expand access to behavioral health care nationwide.

Talkiatry aims to make psychiatry accessible, human, and empowering for both patients and providers. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we address access and quality issues in mental healthcare.

Despite high need, many adults with mental illness remain untreated, and clinicians face low reimbursement and burdensome paperwork. We leverage technology and a human-centered approach to improve care and provider experience.

Your Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHNP.
• At least 4 years post-grad experience as a PMHNP, preferably in telehealth; prior RN psychiatric experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active license and DEA; licensure support available.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with mental health evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and psychoeducation/supportive therapy.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records.
• Passion for high-quality, evidence-based care in telepsychiatry.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing education and collaborative practice.
• Proactive work ethic and dedication to cost-effective behavioral health care.
• Note: Only experienced, board-certified PMHNPs are considered at this time.
