Staff Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Maryland (New)

We are now interviewing Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners interested in joining us as we expand access to behavioral health care nationwide.

Talkiatry aims to transform psychiatry into an accessible, human, and empowering experience for patients and providers alike. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we address the challenges faced in accessing and providing high-quality mental healthcare.

Despite the high prevalence of mental illness, many adults go untreated due to accessibility issues, and many clinicians are out of network with insurers due to low reimbursement rates and administrative burdens. We leverage innovative technology and a human-centered approach to deliver essential care and enable providers to focus on their patients.

Your Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHNP.
• At least 4 years post-graduate experience practicing as a PMHNP, preferably in telehealth; prior RN experience in psychiatry/behavioral health is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active, unrestricted license and DEA number, with licensure assistance available.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience conducting initial mental health evaluations, developing treatment plans, medication management, and providing psychoeducation/supportive therapy.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, ensuring accurate and current documentation.
• Passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to evidence-based practices in telepsychiatry.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Willingness to expand clinical skills through ongoing education.
• Proactive, with a strong work ethic and collaborative spirit.
• Dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health care.
• Note: We are currently only considering experienced, board-certified PMHNPs.
