Coursera is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define the strategic vision for our search experience across a diverse product suite. You will collaborate with engineering, design, data science, ML, and university partnerships teams to shape a roadmap that delivers a seamless, AI-driven learner journey for a global audience.
The role requires hands-on leadership, obsession with the learner journey, and the ability to translate user value into practical product decisions that scale.
Coursera and Udemy are now one company, bringing together two mission-driven brands to create the world's most powerful platform for turning learning into progress. Together, we help more than 300 million learners and 12,000+ enterprise customers build the skills they need for a world being reshaped by AI. AI is transforming how people learn, work, and grow, and the need for new skills has never been greater. Coursera brings trusted content and credentials from leading university and industry partners, while Udemy brings a dynamic skills marketplace and global network of real-world experts. By combining these strengths, we can connect more people and organizations to the skills they need, when they need them.
By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to reshape how the world learns and applies skills—and help millions of people participate in the new economy. Bring your ideas, expertise, and perspective to meaningful work that can make a difference at global scale.
In this pivotal role, you will set the strategic vision for Coursera's search experience across our diverse product suite by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless, personalized and ML/AI driven learner experience. The best candidates are extremely hands‑on, obsessed with the learner journey, and opinionated about how AI can make finding the right course, credential, or skill path effortless for a global, multilingual audience.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, research, data science, ML, and university partnership teams to contribute to the development of your product roadmap. You will be in close collaboration with marketing, partnership managers, and growth product teams to ensure the successful growth of the product.
You’ve built consumer products at scale - ideally high-intent search or marketplace experiences and deeply understand what makes discovery intuitive, trustworthy, and indispensable. You’ve shipped experiences people love and return to. You bring an "owner" mindset: biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master simplifier, and someone who pushes towards clarity and delivery. You are user-first, understand and speak in terms of user value propositions, and creatively inspire users to try the product. You hold a high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you work on.
We anticipate the application window will be open until October 15, 2026. Based on business needs, this opportunity may remain posted beyond or closed before the anticipated application window.
