Job summary

Zocdoc is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Payments within the Practice Solutions unit to define and build key payment and revenue-cycle products for healthcare practices. You will own patient responsibility, collections, reconciliation, and remittance data, coordinating with providers, payors, and partners to scale the product.

You will drive long-term strategy, work across engineering and GTM teams, and bring an early-stage product to market with speed, ownership, and pragmatic execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in product management for B2B products.
• Meaningful experience in healthcare insurance and claims/remittance workflows.
• Experience at a startup or early-stage company with high ownership and speed.
• Proven track record from problem to launch and iteration.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset with attention to detail.

Your Impact on our Mission

As a Staff Product Manager for Payments within our Practice Solutions business unit, you will define and build the products that help healthcare practices manage the financial side of patient care. You will own critical parts of the payments and revenue cycle experience, including how practices understand patient responsibility, collect payments, reconcile transactions, and connect payment activity to claims and remittance data. You will work across complex healthcare workflows involving patients, providers, payors, clearinghouses, and technology partners. This is a zero to one product leadership role. You will identify unmet customer needs, define the product strategy, and build new capabilities from the ground up. You will need to be equally comfortable setting a long term vision and getting into the details with engineering, design, operations, finance, and go to market teams to bring an early stage product to market and scale it. • 6+ years of product management experience building B2B products
• Meaningful product experience in healthcare insurance, including familiarity with healthcare claims and remittance workflows and the ability to read and interpret 835 and 837 files, is a requirement
• Experience working at a startup or early stage company, with a demonstrated ability to operate with high ownership, speed, ambiguity, and limited resources
• A track record of taking complex products from zero to one, from identifying customer problems and developing strategy through validation, launch, and iteration toward product market fit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence senior stakeholders
• A data driven mindset and enthusiasm for analytical problem solving, paired with exceptional attention to detail
• An action oriented attitude and roll up your sleeves mentality

Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. NYC Base Salary Range $200,000 — $260,000 USD
