Job summary

Airwallex is hiring a Staff Product Manager (GTPN) to drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for our customer-facing API platform enabling treasury and payments at scale. You will work with engineering, sales, and leadership to deliver secure, scalable API products for global customers and partners.

The role is based in San Francisco, with a focus on API design, security, and developer experience, requiring collaboration across time zones and global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of product management experience, with 3+ years on platform/API products in fintech/payments.
• Proven track record launching scalable API-powered platforms.
• Deep technical understanding of API design, security, and developer experience.
• Experience balancing user needs with commercial strategy to drive growth.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle for GTPN APIs from ideation to delivery and optimization.
• Define strategy and roadmap balancing long-term innovation with short-term needs.
• Engage with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to gather feedback and validate features.
• Translate use cases into scalable, secure APIs with engineering collaboration.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sales, and compliance.
• Use data-driven methods to measure success and prioritize requirements.
