Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Lending to define strategy across embedded and first‑party lending, and to shape differentiated products globally. You will work with engineering, data, risk and commercial leaders to drive multi‑quarter roadmaps while mentoring other product managers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in fintech or lending.
• Strong track record leading large, ambiguous product areas.
• Deep experience in lending or embedded finance products.
• Strong commercial, analytical judgment and risk awareness.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Exceptional communication across executives and teams.
• Ability to work across cross‑cultural teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy for significant parts of Airwallex’s lending platform, including embedded lending and first‑party lending capabilities
• Lead highly ambiguous, high‑impact initiatives across origination, underwriting, servicing, repayment, partner enablement, and portfolio optimisation
• Identify and evaluate major market opportunities, customer segments, and product bets, and translate them into multi‑quarter roadmaps and clear execution plans
• Partner closely with engineering, design, data, commercial, credit risk, legal, compliance, finance, and operations leaders to align on strategy and deliver outcomes
• Shape product and business trade‑offs across growth, unit economics, customer experience, operational scalability, and risk performance
• Build scalable product frameworks, decision principles, and operating models that enable Airwallex to expand lending across markets and use cases
• Work with external stakeholders such as financial institutions, capital providers, data partners, and regulatory stakeholders where needed to unlock product capability and scale
• Use data, customer insight, and market intelligence to continuously refine strategy and improve business performance
• Mentor other product managers and raise the standard of product craft, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional leadership within the team
