Job summary

Stripe's Sail Core team is seeking a deeply technical product manager to own the frontend platform strategy, drive cross-company modernization, and set the standard for frontend excellence. You will partner with 50+ product teams to balance architectural health with migration progress, aiming to deliver fast, reliable developer experiences for Stripe's dashboard and beyond.

Qualifications

8+ years in product management, with 2+ years on platform or developer tools teams.
Strong frontend fluency: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, build systems, performance.
Experience driving large-scale migrations or platform transitions across multiple teams.
Demonstrated use of quantitative metrics to drive platform investment decisions.
Partnering with engineering to make architectural trade-offs grounded in user impact.

Responsibilities

Own the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe's frontend platform.
Drive the largest frontend modernization initiative while maintaining architectural quality.
Redefine frontend development with agentic tooling.
Define and track key metrics such as latency, build times, and reliability SLOs.
Be the product voice in technical decisions like API surface design and migration tooling.
