Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery (CNN) is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Developer Experience within the Digital Platform Group.

You will own the end-to-end developer experience, accelerating engineers from on-boarding to production at scale for CNN’s platforms and tooling, improving velocity and safety of deployments. You’ll partner with engineering leaders to design onboarding, reduce bottlenecks in the build/deploy cycle, and measure impact with data-driven insights, while driving best practices

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience owning a strategic priority product area with high complexity and ambiguity
• Experience owning internal developer tools, developer platforms, or infrastructure related products
• Technical fluency in CI/CD, build systems, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and using engineering data to diagnose bottlenecks and drive product decisions
• Proven track record of driving adoption of platform tooling and engineering best practices
• Ability to lead through influence and cross-functional collaboration without direct authority
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for product and business leadership
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong product artifacts

Responsibilities

• Own Developer Experience and Operations, defining the product vision, strategy, goals, metrics, and roadmap with engineering leads
• Collaborate with engineering leads to design onboarding journeys for CNN's platform and tooling
• Identify and reduce bottlenecks in the build, test, and deployment pipeline to shorten the code-to-production cycle
• Drive adoption of developer platform tooling and deployment workflows across teams
