Vanta is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Foundations to own the data platform roadmap and strategy. You will bridge core platform and feature teams, driving scalable data access and integrations across customers and third parties.

This is a highly influential role shaping how data powers Vanta’s products and auditing outcomes. You will guide 12–18 month platform investments, collaborate across PMs and engineering, and enable teams to scale with AI-native capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years supporting platform teams, with preference for data platforms or data products.
• Built 0→1 platforms and long-horizon systems with clear communication.
• Strong frameworks to build complex platforms with sequencing, goals, and progress tracking.

Responsabilités

• Own foundational roadmap and pair with engineering to plan durable platform investments.
• Collaborate with other product teams to align platform needs and roadmaps.
• Drive data platform strategy and support governance/risks strategies (GRC).
• Trade off feature development vs platform stability with clear direction.
• Enable and evangelize data platform usage across teams.
• Gather customer requirements for platform improvements and ship features accordingly.
• Plan 12–18 month platform scaling, including AI-native uses and agent operations.
• Create and measure metrics for platform investments and outcomes.
• Support an existing team of engineers and tech leads focused on the data platform.
