Job summary

dbt Labs is seeking a Product Manager for Developer Experience to own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud, including Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the dbt VS Code Extension. You will collaborate with Fusion to ensure powerful AI-assisted experiences for tens of thousands of data practitioners worldwide.

The role combines developer tooling with AI-driven innovation, requiring strong product leadership and user-experience focus in a hybrid Denver, CO environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer experience roadmap for Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and VS Code Extension.
• Partner with the Fusion team to align capabilities and surface Fusion-powered intelligence.
• Lead AI-native development for Developer Agent, including workflows and NL interactions.
• Drive IDE and tooling strategy across VS Code and other IDEs for dbt Cloud.
• Define cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM to ship experiences.
• Build feedback loops with the dbt community and enterprise customers for improvement.
• Conduct market and user research to inform the roadmap and landscape.
• Align investments to company goals and Fusion platform strategy.
