Job summary
VeryGoodSecurity (VGS) is seeking a Product Engineer to extend and evolve the VGS Platform—the foundation powering payment credential orchestration for merchants and financial institutions. This role blends product intuition with deep technical craft to build fault-tolerant, client-facing primitives across our customer base.
You will own feature development from concept to shipping, collaborating with customers and partners to deliver reusable software solutions that scale with Fortune 500
Qualifications
- Strong product instincts with a holistic view of UX, API design, and system correctness.
- Experience shipping high-quality software in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
- Optimistic problem-solver who can own features end-to-end.
- Enthusiasm for working in an agentic engineering environment and balancing risk with delivery.
- Ability to learn payments/tokenization and credential management concepts quickly.
Responsibilities
- Building and scaling extensions on top of our core platform used by large enterprises.
- Shipping features iteratively for MVPs and scalable customer offerings.
- Setting engineering standards and contributing to the roadmap.
- Collaborating with customers, vendors, and partners to solve business problems with reusable software.
- Contributing to architecture decisions in payment tokenization, network token management, and credential orchestration.
