Verygoodsecurity is a leading tokenization platform enabling secure payment data management. We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain migration services and enhance our file processing products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize high-throughput, fault-tolerant services within the VGS platform. You will thrive with attention to detail, problem solving, customer focus, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in data, security, or high-growth SaaS product companies.
• Expert ability to write clean, production-ready, maintainable code in Python, Java, and Go.
• Deep proficiency in AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda) and Kubernetes; experience with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering organization to address and navigate intricate technical hurdles.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of diverse SaaS offerings.
• Partner closely with clients to identify needs and architect tailored technical solutions.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Maintain high engineering standards through testing, automated workflows, and peer reviews.
• Support on-call rotations and drive long-term service improvements.
