Job summary

ROLR is seeking a Staff Product Engineer (AI-Native) in New York to own the design system and prototype across mobile, web, desktop, CLI, and embedded surfaces. You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering to ship production software and leverage frontier AI tooling to accelerate ideas to production.

The role emphasizes strong design fundamentals, full-stack execution, and leadership in AI-driven workflows. Hybrid work from our NY office is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building software products.
• Strong product design fundamentals and judgment.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience with production apps.
• A portfolio showing both design and engineering work.
• Experience owning complex, ambiguous projects.
• Interest in AI-native software development and new workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in New York and able to work from our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop ROLR's design system across web and React Native.
• Design and prototype new customer experiences across surfaces.
• Partner with Product Management to translate problems into experiences.
• Rapidly prototype and test ideas before major engineering invest.
• Design, build, and ship software across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and internal tooling.
• Build AI-powered workflows for Product and Engineering teams.
• Experiment with agentic workflows and multi-agent patterns.
• Develop prompt/context engineering and AI-assisted testing approaches.
