This position will play a crucial role in maintaining Corient’s Microsoft stack. This position will report to VP, IT Operations.

Location: Chicago, Illinois or Miami, Florida

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with file/exchange migrations, leveraging coding (e.g., in PowerShell) and off the shelf tooling (e.g., Shargate and bittitan)
  • Standardize and automate key areas of tech stack (including file transfer, reconciliation), especially related to M&A, Onboarding, account setups – leveraging key integrations across the enterprise
  • Drive greater monitoring capabilities across Microsoft stack, and continuously find areas for improvement and streamlining
  • Serve as engineering SME and configuration for key Corient platforms particularly Microsoft exchange and full stack and can align features aligned to product roadmaps
  • Document and evolve product technology architecture
  • Build roadmap for leveraging development tools and engineering (e.g., DevSecOps) for rapidly and safely delivering product features
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level
  • Collaborate to come up with great app and service solutions
  • Mentor our juniors and pair them as necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience developing on specified platforms
  • Experience with basic DevOps and building code pipelines
  • 1-2+ years experience as a full stack developer
  • Ability building scalable infrastructure
  • Product background preferred

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Pay Information

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. The pay range for this position is $96,000 – $116,000 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
