Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineer who combines product intuition with strong software craftsmanship to extend and scale our core platform used by leading merchants, acquirers, and card issuers.

You will ship features iteratively, set engineering standards, and collaborate with customers, vendors, and partners to deliver reusable solutions that solve real business problems in payments and token management.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale extensions on top of the core platform for enterprise customers.
• Ship features iteratively, balancing MVP needs with scalable product offers.
• Set engineering standards, shape team culture, and contribute to the roadmap.
• Work with customers, vendors, and partners to solve business problems with reusable software.
• Contribute to architecture decisions in payment tokenization, network token management, and credential orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Building and scaling extensions on top of our core platform which is already used by the world’s largest enterprises across the merchant, acquirer, and card issuer spaces.
• Shipping features iteratively, in a way that optimizes both for the MVP and can be scaled into a full‑fledged customer offering.
• Setting engineering standards, shaping the team culture, and contributing to our roadmap.
• Working directly with customers, vendors, and partners to understand and figure out how we can solve their business problems with creative software solutions that are reusable across our customer base.
• Contributing to architecture decisions and shaping our product direction in payment tokenization, network token management, and credential orchestration.
