Job summary

Checkr is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join the Growth team and drive design across the funnel from acquisition to conversion. You will own experiences that improve onboarding, merchandising surfaces, and guided flows, leveraging AI to personalize customer journeys.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, run workshops, and advocate for users while delivering high-fidelity designs that balance craft, analytics, and business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional design experience, including Growth/ecommerce.
• Experience on Growth teams or ecommerce/merchandising driving conversion and adoption.
• Experience with onboarding and merchandising surfaces; comfortable with iterative experiments (A/B tests).
• Ability to conduct UX research independently and apply insights to design.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Growth team; define roadmap and vision, lead design work.
• Own design for funnel optimization, NUX, and personalization in guided flows.
• Leverage AI to create personalized customer experiences.
• Design growth systems, experiments, and new features based on data and insights.
• Champion seamless, delightful experiences for SMB users.
