Job summary

Clio, the global leader in legal AI technology, seeks a Staff Product Designer to join our Product Design team. This role focuses on the Judiciary space, building a zero-to-one product for courts and judges, reporting to the product design manager.

You will shape strategy, own end-to-end design, and mentor peers while collaborating with Product and Engineering to deliver trustworthy AI experiences. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at hubs and offers a competitive Total Rewards

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Design experience, B2B SaaS preferred.
• Ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments.
• Experience leading complex cross-team initiatives and shipping high-quality work.
• Strong product judgment connecting customer needs to strategy and metrics.
• Expertise in UX craft, information architecture, and visual design.
• Proven research skills for niche users and zero-to-one products.
• Experience designing AI-powered experiences with trust and control.

Responsibilities

• Define experience strategy, success metrics, and high-leverage priorities.
• Build deep customer intuition and translate workflows into decisions.
• Lead end-to-end design across multi-surface journeys from framing to launch.
• Shape long-term experience vision and align teams through storytelling.
• Raise quality across the product ecosystem and evolve design systems.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and decision-making in ambiguity.
• Mentor other designers and elevate design craft within the portfolio.
• Partner with product design manager to maintain quality of design.
• Contribute to design culture through staff-level forums and initiatives.
