Job summary

Novo seeks a Staff Product Designer to be the highest-leverage IC on the product design team. You’ll own cross-surface problems spanning onboarding, money movement, lending, and invoicing across web and native apps.

This is not a management role; you’ll set the design quality and coherence, partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps, and scale the design system for the whole product. You’ll mentor peers, drive AI-assisted workflows, and ensure accessibility and consistent design

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience.
• Hands-on AI fluency in daily design work.
• Experience building and scaling design systems for web and mobile.
• Experience designing fintech/regulated environments including disclosures and consent flows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for cross-surface initiatives (onboarding to invoicing) across web and mobile.
• Define what done well means for interaction, visual, and content design.
• Lead evolution of Novo’s design system, tokens and components.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data and compliance to shape roadmaps.
