We’re looking for Staff / Principal Product Designer. An exceptional individual contributor who can think from first principles and has high growth potential.
Hungry and wants to change the world; understands the urgency and importance of what we’re doing for society
Bored and frustrated by big companies; feels held back by red tape, bureaucracy, endless meetings, and poor decisions
Eager to understand the big picture; the context of the company and the entire vertical
Empathic with high-sigma product intuition; able to intuit a user’s situation, motivation, and desired outcome (even with minimal research), and translate these into optimal interactions and interfaces
Meticulous with an eye for aesthetics; recognises the importance of details when shipping products that are used every single day and by millions of people
An excellent communicator; creates clarity and energy when sharing work with the team or customers
Comfortable prioritising and working iteratively; guided by user feedback, data, and company goals
Intellectually curious; able to tackle novel challenges that lack prior precedent
Driven to maximise productivity; not only self productivity, but team productivity
Familiar with frontend development; appreciates the building blocks of web applications and how these come together
Proficient in Figma
Examples of what you can expect to be doing include:
Leading design for multiple new opportunities, from beginning to end. We’re currently exploring how we might: manage clinical correspondence and documents; automate the treatment of patients, and integrate with the NHS application.
Improving our existing, flagship features to maximise the affected user-minutes. For example, how might we make it faster for our clinical users to send appointment invitations to patients? This path can be traversed by clinical usershundredsof times a day.
Collaborating with customers — an exclusive community for our most fanatical customers to share feedback on what we’re working on now and to influence what we work on next. In addition, joining customer calls and visiting them at their place of work to develop a deep understanding of their problems, wants, and needs.
Shaping the roadmap and ensuring that we prioritise and build products that lead to the highest total network value deltas. We don’t have Product Managers (and we may never), so both thinking and execution will be required.
Implementing the right processes at the right times to maximise discounted team productivity. Including (but not limited to) formalising our design standards and scaling our design tools so we keep shipping features that result in a high retention delta.
