Job description

StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we're here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.

Staff Product Designer (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)

Help shape how user experience work is carried out across multiple products by focusing on shared approaches, reusable solutions, and clear guidance that supports consistent outcomes over time. Connect user experience considerations with broader product and business goals by turning high level needs into clear experience principles and longer-term areas of focus. Define and maintain simple, practical ways of working for design teams, including how work is requested, prioritized, documented, and shared, so teams can collaborate more easily. Support large, multi-part design efforts by helping teams coordinate timing, dependencies, and scope across related areas of work. Work with partners to identify what success looks like for user experience, using product signals, testing results, and observed user behavior to understand whether designs are meeting expectations. Build and maintain shared design resources, such as internal tools, libraries, and prototyping setups, that make it easier for designers and engineers to work efficiently and reuse proven patterns. Explore, test, and adopt new tools and workflows, including AI supported design and research tools, to reduce repetitive effort and allow more time for thoughtful problem solving. Support designers’ growth by offering guidance, feedback, and hands‑on examples that help build confidence, deepen skills, and explore areas of specialization. Provide input during product planning to help teams understand the user experience impact of priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs, especially across connected products. Contribute to improving usability, accessibility, and consistency by reviewing work, sharing feedback, and identifying areas for refinement across products. Serve as a point of contact for experience related questions during planning and review discussions, helping ensure user needs are considered as decisions are made.
