Job summary

Designworks Talent LLC is seeking a Staff Operations & Maintenance Engineer to help scale our AI infrastructure in a hybrid Bellevue-based role. You will monitor GPU compute environments, drive incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational tooling and reliability.

This position emphasizes building a scalable operating system for mission-critical AI workloads, with on-call readiness, robust runbooks, and close partnership with engineering and hardware

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations or infrastructure operations.
• Strong incident response and troubleshooting across hardware, network, and systems.
• Comfortable in an early-stage environment where processes and tooling are evolving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live data center and GPU infrastructure for performance, capacity, and reliability issues.
• Lead or support incident response for production issues and drive fast resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure monitoring, alerting, and tooling are first class.
• Partner with hardware, networking, and infrastructure teams to resolve root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to runbooks and on-call practices as the platform scales.
