Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in power system delivery architecture, design and development.
• Experience testing high voltage and high power systems; proficiency in hardware and firmware development and debugging.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and specification of grid-to-chip power chain components and systems.
• Build out test environments and perform engineering tests and validation of the grid-to-chip power chain.
• Design test hardware, fixtures, loads and devices to simulate loading conditions and evaluate power chain performance.
• Design and prototype custom components for Graphcore power architecture, including low-level power conversion hardware.
• Support transition of designs from test/validation to manufacturing/production.
• Ensure robustness of IT power amid grid disturbances and compatibility with grid requirements.
• Provide guidance to power equipment manufacturers and ODM teams on testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced power hardware and firmware issues.
