Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Junior Engineer, Power Engineering to aid in design, test, and development of the power delivery components from grid to chip. The role is based in Milpitas, CA and will involve primarily on-site work in the power electronics laboratory.

You will collaborate with the Power Engineering team to validate hardware, test fixtures, loads, and test environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• Basic familiarity with power electronics systems operation.
• Experience testing electronic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate the power chain components from chip to grid.
• Assemble, validate, and operate test hardware and fixtures to simulate conditions and evaluate performance.
• Test and employ custom components designed by the Power Team to support the Graphcore power architecture.
• Support the transition of designs from test/validation into manufacturing and production environments.
