Job summary

Orion is seeking a Staff Product Manager in the United States to lead high-impact platform initiatives and model AI-native product development. This player-coach role involves shipping difficult features, mentoring a small group of PMs, and influencing the strategic direction under the GM.

You will own discovery, data-informed decisions, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering. The ideal candidate has a long track record of shipping in senior IC roles, deep AI fluency, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years in product management or product engineering with increasing scope.
Experience in AI-forward or technically deep product roles.

Responsibilities

Own the highest-leverage, ambiguous, or hardest-to-solve problems in the pillar.
Personally ship PRDs, prototypes, features, and analyses at the team’s quality bar.
Build and deploy AI-native workflows and publish team standards.
Partner with engineering leadership on pillar direction and platform investments.
Translate GM-level strategy into a crisp product vision and quality bar.
Run end-to-end discovery with AI-accelerated methods.
Lead cross-pillar initiatives and represent the pillar in exec reviews.
Mentor 3–6 peer PMs with weekly 1:1s and shadowing.
Raise the team's AI fluency and maintain the prompt/library assets.
Own the hiring bar for the pillar's PM hires; lead interview loops.
