Transformcap is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to build and oversee the infrastructure for our innovative AI platform aimed at rare disease patients. This hands-on role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, compliance, and security.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience in infrastructure engineering, including cloud expertise and coding capabilities, and will thrive in an early-stage, dynamic environment where they can lead and innovate.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/infrastructure engineering experience, with 4+ in a senior role.
• Experience scaling infrastructure through significant growth.
• Demonstrated capability in designing high availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure for Citizen Health's AI platform.
• Set technical direction for platform and infrastructure strategy.
• Define SLOs and build observability stack to drive incident response.

Skills

Software / infrastructure engineering experience

Cloud provider expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code

Programming skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript

Experience with high availability and zero-downtime

Strong security fundamentals

Education

Relevant degree or equivalent experience
