Job summary

Evolve is seeking a Staff Engineer to build, secure, and scale the infrastructure powering our vacation-rental platform. You will influence platform architecture across multiple teams, lead initiatives tackling tech debt, and shape how we adopt AI tooling responsibly.

You will own platform reliability end-to-end, design scalable IaC (Terraform/Pulumi), drive SLOs/SLAs, orchestrate Kubernetes, and mentor engineers while balancing cost, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Drive DevOps transformation across CI/CD pipelines and container strategy.
• Architect secure infrastructure by default and enforce guardrails.
• Apply AI tooling with rigorous validation and governance.
• Own platform reliability end-to-end with SLOs/SLAs.
• Lead IaC at scale with reusable modules and standards.
• Define architecture direction across multiple teams.
