Lumicity in the United States is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to build and scale cloud infrastructure, backend services, and distributed systems powering data-intensive and AI-driven applications. This hands-on role carries significant technical ownership and influence over platform architecture.

You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and customer teams, and drive reliability, observability, and performance across scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems or infrastructure.
• Strong Python and Terraform expertise.
• Experience with AWS compute services, autoscaling, and production systems.
• Strong operational ownership and practical experience using AI development tools.
