EMPLOYER: Collibra Inc.
TITLE: Staff Platform Engineer

LOCATION: New York, NY (Option to work remotely from any location in the U.S.)

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the engineering ecosystem supporting cloud-based software to enable customer optimization of the Collibra platform.
2. Deliver tools and platforms to support development, release management, and test engineering teams.
3. Provide guidance, training, support, working tools, and self-service capabilities to stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a similar role, or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent plus seven (7) years of relevant experience. The candidate must have five (5) years (or seven [7] years with a Bachelor's) of experience with:

• Building scalable software applications
• Coding, developing, and testing with Java, Groovy, Golang, and/or Python
• Using Git (Bitbucket) and GitOps principles, Ansible, and Terraform
• Performing Audit, Compliance, Security, and Access Recertifications
• Working with cloud vendors and security models for assessments
• Security compliance coding and enforcement (STIG, CIS levels 1-3)
• Researching and applying emerging technologies for application development
• Implementing infrastructure using IaC aligned with security standards
• Secure deployment of SaaS systems in a multi-cloud, multi-tenant environment

Additional Details

SALARY: $190,700 - $276,000 per year

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
